OVERVIEW
We are, first and foremost, environmentalists. Our dream and mission is to offer beautiful, sustainable fashion and lifestyle products that support kindred spirits to have a lighter footprint & live in harmony with Earth. As business owners, we believe it is our responsibility to ensure that all aspects of our offerings are not detrimental to the health of our planet which allows you to focus more on living a conscious and wholesome life in connection with nature.
Come along with us as we walk you through our sustainability choices.
NATURAL FIBRES
We searched high and low for the holy grail of sustainable fibres, our journey led us to hemp, the more we learned about hemp the more we realised that we needed to make the change. In 2020 we finally completed our transition to exclusively using 100% hemp fabric.
MADE TO ORDER, MADE IN AUSTRALIA
Our garments are made to order, by us in our Grampians studio. We have chosen this for our production process to combat the fast fashion mentality & reduce textile waste as a result of excess stock, we are also able to reduce the carbon footprint by significantly reducing the distance our pieces travel.
CHOOSE WELL, BUY LESS
Our vision is that our garments are purchased, loved and worn for a very long time, this is embodied in our design philosophy of timelessness and versatility. Choosing well and buying less is an incredible movement and a step in the right direction for sustainability however it is more than just a statement, we offer you these explorations to support you on your journey.
PACKAGING
Our packaging is simple and minimalist yet thoughtful and beautiful. We package our garments in recycled tissue and stickers that are 100% compostable.
WATER POLLUTION & CHEMICALS
The two largest pollutants of clean water are directly correlated with textiles and therefore the fashion industry. So what are they and how are we addressing this issue?
TRANSPARENCY
'Greenwashing' is a term that now, unfortunately, has its own Wikipedia page as it has become so commonplace, the page defines it as "a form of spin in which green PR or green marketing is deceptively used to promote the perception that an organization's products, aims or policies are environmentally friendly."..
IN YOUR HANDS
The number one thing you can do is to choose your piece carefully, love it and keep it in your wardrobe for many years to come. If one day you decide it’s not for you anymore, please make the effort to pass it onto someone you know will love it.
